Wockhardt Hospital HUB of Negligence or its Common practice by their Doctors ?

This is not the first time that we have heard something negative coming out from Wockhardt Hospital in Mira Road. Within couple of years this Hospital has gain negative popularity with regards to the behavior of Medical staff, Security guard and Billing issue.

Even after this negative stuffs this Hospital is running because it is backed by High level Politicians and its location in the core of Mira Road.

But Tension gripped at Wockhardt Hopital in Mira Road following the death of Maulana Ehsan Haider – a 52-year-old cleric and Shia scholar, here late on Tuesday night (29th May 2018).

Maulana Ehsan Haider was rushed to the Wockhardt Hospital located near Naya Nagar in Mira Road between 8.00 pm – 8.30 pm on Tuesday. Because of Chest pain which he started feeling during his evening lectures in Mira Road.

On-duty doctors claim to have started cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but could not revive the patient who was declared dead at around 11.00 pm. – Is this true?

While getting deeper into this incident our sources confirmed that this was actually not the real story. A quick sequence of events that took place (according to our sources and eye witness)

· Maulana Ehsan Haider was rushed to the Wockhardt Hospital between 8.00 pm – 8.30 pm

· He was not in a collapse condition but yes the pain was getting worst.

· No Doctor was present for next 1hr.

· Maulana Ehsan Haider (patient) was attended by Nurse.

· Chest pumping was done by Security guards present in the Hospital.

· When relative asked to release the patient this request was refused by the Hospital authority.

· Relatives called their Doctor (Dr. Jerjis Panna) who then checked patient and declared that Maulana Ehsan Haider (patient) is no more.

· Hospital refused to release the body and generated a bill of 3Lakh (as per the sources)

· Crowd started protesting against this behavior of Hospital authority.

· Arrival of few local politician called by hospital.

· Body was given to relatives.

· The CCTV cameras have recorded the entire sequence of events.” - Nor patient relative neither the hospital has registered any complaint with us.” said a police officer.

So what we should call this act as “Wockhardt Hospital HUB of Negligence or its Common a practice by their Doctors???”

Maulana Ehsan Haider Jawadi was a Public figure, He was not only a religious scholar but an Active contributor to our society by helping Orphan, Widows and economically backwards. Also his contribution was not only for a specific community.

So crowd which is named as mischief mongers actually consist of normal citizen which includes womans and small kids.

When discussing with the local crowd in Mira Road what we come to know that it is a normal attitude of Hospital authority and This particular incident got highlight because it was related to a Public figure.

We hope that Wockhardt Hospital in Mira Road should improve its quality of service with the essence to serve people.
